Access Planning is growing in size, with employees and clients across Canada. Addressing our carbon footprint is one of the priorities of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy. Access Planning is proud to announce our status as a Carbon Friendly company working in partnership with Offsetters, Canada’s leading carbon management solutions provider.

Early in 2019, we began searching for a proven and effective firm to work with to offset our flight and rail emissions. It was important to find a company that could help us learn how to move from offsetting our transport emissions to more comprehensively offsetting the entirety of our working emissions. Offsetters proved to be the right fit, being one of the largest, most experienced, and full-service carbon management teams in North America, operating on values of integrity and effectiveness.

We also wanted to ensure that our offsets were used to maximum effect locally. We were thrilled to be offered Canadian projects, particularly in British Columbia. We are currently devoting our carbon offsets to the Great Bear Rainforest (GBR) Carbon Project. Funds from the sale of carbon offsets support First Nations communities in the GBR to support improved forest management, conservation economy initiatives, and employment.

Access Planning is proud to be a Carbon Friendly company through our partnership with Offsetters. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, we believe that this is the first step towards achieving full Carbon Neutrality and reducing the impact of our work on our shared climate.
