Living our values

Over the course of the last year, Access Planning has seen tremendous growth and evolution. And, it’s been important to us to root this growth squarely in our values as a company and a team of committed colleagues. This process has included developing a company Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Diversity Policy as an expression of our values and a foundational document for all we do.  

Our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy is focused on our mission: to build great cities that are truly sustainable – environmentally, socially, and economically – and fully accessible to all. The projects we work focus exclusively on improving the quality of life in our communities, creating accessible and vibrant urban spaces of exchange, and designing sustainable and efficient transportation systems. This mission work is supported not only in the daily practice of our work but by our dedicated employees who regularly choose sustainable transport options and telecommuting to minimize their carbon footprints. Access Planning also calculates and offsets our company’s carbon footprint through Offsetters.ca. We are committed to giving back, through student scholarships, event sponsorships, charitable donations, pro-bono services, and employee profit-sharing.

As a small firm that puts tremendous value on our relationships, the Access Planning Diversity Policy is particularly important to us.
