Planning Associate
Anushka is a transportation planner and strategic policy thinker committed to making our cities more sustainable, accessible, healthy, and fun for all ages and abilities.
Based in our Toronto office, she brings a wide range of experience working with municipalities and communities across the globe. Before joining Access, she worked at Smart Growth America, a national non-profit based in Washington DC, where she advanced the vision of the National Complete Streets Coalition. She has experience conducting spatial data analysis to inform decision-making, managing large-scale research on sustainable transportation policy and implementation, and organizing capacity building workshops and walk audits.
Anushka holds a Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley where she was awarded the 2020 Research Excellence Award. She also holds a Bachelor's in City Planning from CEPT University, India and studied cycling cities at the University of Amsterdam.
