Summarizing a year of transit performance in Metro Vancouver
The Transit Service Performance Review (TSPR) is TransLink’s annual public-facing report providing a comprehensive review of ridership trends across the whole system, while the HandyDART Service Performance Review (HDSPR) measures the performance of HandyDART, TransLink’s specialized service for customers who are unable to navigate conventional service without assistance. The TSPR and HDSPR findings are key in helping guide decision-making and perform network adjustments. The TSPR provides information on metrics such as busiest routes and stations; boardings by the time of the day; average daily boardings per mode and more, while the HDSPR includes data on demand and registration, service reliability, and customer satisfaction. Access assisted TransLink in developing the 2021 and 2022 TSPR/HDSPR by completing extensive data analysis, advising on metrics inclusion, framing, creating visual data representations, and providing project management support.
