Planning more inclusive transportation in Greater Los Angeles

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) completed an update to the countywide Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP). Access, alongside a group of collaborators, provided strategic support focused on developing goals and objectives, framing the needs assessment, plan alignment, and drafting the plan narrative and policy directions.
Ventura County borders Los Angeles County and comprises one of the six counties that make up Greater Los Angeles. The CTP calls for a comprehensive planning document that incorporates existing land uses, community priorities, and local transportation solutions with a special emphasis on inclusion of disadvantaged and underserved communities.
